A 19-year-old NEET aspirant died by suicide at her home in Jalalpur village, Maharashtra's Ahilyanagar district.
She scored 166 marks in the NEET re-examination, missing the cutoff of 177 by a narrow margin.
A suicide note said she was depressed over not achieving her expected score and stated her parents and brother were not responsible.
Her family demanded justice and compensation, and criticized Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation over the paper leak.
The Karjat Police registered a case of accidental death and are investigating.
