Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri denied resignation reports, stating he has not resigned.

Giri estimated the theft of donations at around Rs 3 crore, calling reports of Rs 14 crore false.

Trust general secretary Champat Rai resigned voluntarily after realizing his negligence, said Giri.

An Ayodhya court extended judicial custody of all eight accused in the donation embezzlement case by 14 days.

The Supreme Court issued notices to the Centre, Uttar Pradesh government, and the Trust seeking responses to related petitions.
