Ram temple donation theft case: Court extends judicial custody of all eight accused till July 27

Special court in Ayodhya extended judicial custody of all eight accused in Ram temple donation theft case till July 27.

The eight accused are Avinash Shukla, Anukalp Mishra, Lavkush Mishra, Manish Kumar Yadav, Karunesh Pandey, Ramashankar Mishra, Subhash Srivastava and Ram Shankar Yadav alias Tinnu.

Accused were produced via video conferencing from Faizabad district jail; court remanded them after earlier custody period expired.

Ayodhya police had previously taken four accused into police custody for interrogation regarding diversion of devotees' offerings and financial transactions.

Prosecution sought police remand of Ram Shankar Yadav and Subhash Srivastava due to fresh leads; court to decide on July 14.
