Punjab governor urges youth to become driving force behind drug-free India
PM Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the 100-week 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Abhiyaan' campaign to mobilize youth against substance abuse.
Punjab governor and Chandigarh administrator Gulab Chand Kataria administered the Nasha Mukti Pledge at Tagore Theatre in Chandigarh.
The campaign will run for 100 weeks with awareness activities every Sunday, supported by over 125 spiritual organizations and numerous NGOs.
Kataria urged youth to lead the fight against substance abuse and inspire others to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
The Chandigarh municipal corporation organized live telecasts of the inauguration at community centres across the city.
