'I'll lead if Sonam can't': Wangchuk's wife Gitanjali says July 20 march to Parliament is on

Gitanjali J Angmo said she will lead the July 20 march to Parliament if her husband Sonam Wangchuk cannot participate.

Angmo stated Wangchuk was taken from Jantar Mantar to Safdarjung hospital without his or her consent.

Wangchuk has been on a hunger strike for 20 days and refused electrolyte powder at the hospital.

Angmo asserted the march will go ahead as planned, regardless of Wangchuk's hospitalisation.

The Delhi High Court directed regular health monitoring but did not order hospitalisation, according to Angmo.
