CJP's 'Sansad Chalo': 2 protestors injured; 21-year-old on ventilator, another had pellet in eye

Two protesters were injured during the CJP's 'Sansad Chalo' protest, with a 21-year-old woman named Sakshi on ventilator support at RML Hospital showing signs of improvement but in critical condition.

Another protester, Sheikh Irshad, underwent surgery at Lady Hardinge Medical College to remove a pellet lodged in his left eye and was stable after the procedure.

A third injured protester, Sahil, who sustained a serious eye injury, was initially treated at LHMC and later referred to AIIMS for specialized treatment.

Union health minister J P Nadda visited both RML Hospital and Lady Hardinge Medical College to assess the condition of the injured protesters.

All other injured protesters brought to RML Hospital were discharged after treatment for minor injuries including bruises, cuts, and chest injuries.
