Glasgow restaurant to correct India map after Lovlina raises Northeast issue
Boxing Federation of India president Ajay Singh said Mister Singh's India, The Home of Curry in Glasgow agreed to correct a map of India after boxer Lovlina Borgohain noted the Northeast was missing.
Lovlina Borgohain, an Olympic medallist from Assam who won silver in Glasgow, noticed the map on napkins and displayed outside the restaurant omitted the Northeast.
Ajay Singh clarified there was no confrontation; the restaurant accepted the mistake and assured correction.
The Indian team visited the restaurant on Saturday to celebrate a record 10 boxing medals at the Commonwealth Games.
