'That hurts us': CWG silver medalist Lovlina flags 'missing' Northeast on Glasgow restaurant's India map
Lovlina Borgohain, CWG silver medallist and Assam boxer, flagged that Mister Singh's India, The Home of Curry in Glasgow displayed an India map with the Northeast missing on napkins and outside the restaurant.
Borgohain said the omission hurt her and asked the management to correct it.
Restaurant owners acknowledged the mistake and assured the Indian boxing contingent it would be corrected.
Boxing Federation of India president Ajay Singh confirmed the issue was resolved amicably, with no confrontation.
Lovlina won silver in women's 75kg boxing at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, losing to Australia's Emma-Sue Greentree by a 4-1 split decision.
