'Months of torture': Bengaluru woman dies by suicide after 'dowry harassment'; husband, father-in-law arrested
A 31-year-old woman named Maimunnisa died by suicide after enduring months of physical and mental harassment over dowry by her husband Junaid and father-in-law Nazir Ahmed.
Maimunnisa married Junaid on January 19, 2024, and her family gave 45 grams of gold jewellery, a branded watch, and a scooter as dowry.
