The project, initially approved during Ajitdada Pawar's tenure, was pursued by Deputy CM and Sports Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar.
The revised estimate of ₹24.95 crore was approved as a special case by the High-Level Committee of Secretaries and then by the State Cabinet.
₹25 crore has already been released per a Government Resolution dated March 31, 2026.
The complex aims to offer modern training facilities for athletes in Beed district.
