  1. Mirabai Chanu won women's 48kg gold at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with a total of 190kg (85kg snatch, 105kg clean and jerk), becoming the first woman to win three weightlifting gold medals in CWG history.

  2. Chanu improved her total by 20kg from 170kg at Glasgow 2014 to 190kg at Glasgow 2026, while the gap between her and the silver medalist grew from 3kg behind to 22kg ahead.

  3. She is the only weightlifter from India's 2014 CWG squad of 15 athletes still competing at the Games in 2026.
