FBI arrests most wanted gangster Nitish Kaushal on US-Canada border

FBI arrested Nitish Kaushal, an alleged associate of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria Organised Crime Group (OCG), in Vermont near the US-Canada border.

Kaushal had been placed on the FBI's most wanted list just days earlier and was charged with RICO conspiracy.

The Jaggu Bhagwanpuria OCG is described by the FBI as a transnational criminal organization involved in murder, kidnapping, drug trafficking, extortion, weapons trafficking, money laundering, and human smuggling.

Kaushal allegedly carried out acts of violence for the gang, including kidnappings and assaults, and is considered armed and dangerous.

The arrest was made with assistance from US Border Patrol personnel as part of broader efforts to dismantle the criminal syndicate.
