New State-Of-The-Art Accident And Emergency Complex Operationalised At Mumbais Nair Hospital

B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital in Mumbai operationalised its new Accident and Emergency Medical Services Complex on July 13.
The first phase includes emergency, triage, paediatrics, orthopaedics, surgery and a Minor Operation Theatre.
The facility has an eight-bed EMS ward for intensive care during the 'golden hour' after accidents.
Advanced diagnostic facilities will be introduced in the second phase.
The existing casualty building will be demolished for a 20-storey residential tower for Resident Medical Officers.
