Two more arrested for Panchkula double murder

Rajiv Paswan alias Bakri (22), a native of Bihar’s Supaul district, and Roshan alias Mota (20), a native of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, were arrested on July 25 for the Panchkula double murder.

Both accused, living in Abhaypur, were produced before a local court and remanded to six days of police custody.

The double murder occurred on July 4, 2026, in Sector 19, Panchkula, where Sanjeet and Arjun alias Chitta were killed in a clash.

The motive involved a family feud: Sanjeet's sister married Arjun, leading to hostility; Sanjeet allegedly attacked Arjun at a naming ceremony, resulting in both deaths.

Seven people have been arrested so far, including a juvenile; police are searching for remaining absconding accused.
