LeBron James hears 76ers pitch 12 years later

LeBron James will join Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-year veterans' minimum deal worth about $3.9 million per season, 12 years after Embiid’s 2014 social media pitch.

James’ addition places the 76ers among NBA title favorites, alongside Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and VJ Edgecombe.

The 76ers hired Mike Gansey as team president, who previously traded for Jaylen Brown from Boston.
