LeBron James signs 2-year, $8M deal with 76ers

LeBron James signed a two-year, $8 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, including a player option.

James stated he believes he can help the 76ers become a championship team and is excited to energize a new fan base.

The deal unites James with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, and Jaylen Brown as Philadelphia pursues its first NBA title since 1983.

James joins the 76ers after an eight-season tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers.
