'Since when is abusing a crime?': What CJP said on FIR over girl's remarks against PM Modi
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) questioned an FIR filed in Noida against a woman for allegedly using abusive language against PM Narendra Modi during NEET paper leak protests.
CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said using abusive language is not a criminal offense and criticized the use of criminal machinery over it, noting that 50% of MPs face criminal charges without action.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke asked why similar action was not taken against BJP leaders and IT cell members accused of using objectionable language, alleging a double standard.
Das appealed to the government to stop harassing youth and leave the girl alone, calling the FIR a misuse of police force to make an example of her.
