Kerala rains: 15 dead, seven missing, says CM Satheesan

Heavy rains continued in Kerala, with rescue operations intensified and 316 relief camps functioning, sheltering 11,018 people.
The government deployed 14 fishing boats from Kollam to Chengannur for rescue operations, and two helicopters from Sulur reached Thiruvananthapuram.
District-wise casualties include four deaths in Malappuram, three in Kottayam, two in Idukki, two in Kollam, and one each in Vizhinjam, Muthalapozhi, Kannur, and Kozhikode.
The situation was under control except in some areas of Pathanamthitta; one NDRF team deployed to Pathanamthitta and two to Kottayam, with two more requested from Arakkonam.
