'Jana Nayagan' box office day 12 (LIVE): Vijay's film slows down
Vijay's film 'Jana Nayagan' earned Rs 1.24 crore India net on day 12, its lowest single-day total, bringing total India net to Rs 176.84 crore and India gross to Rs 206.38 crore.
The film crossed Rs 200 crore in India during its second weekend but slowed in the second working week.
As of day 12, the Tamil version earned Rs 1.17 crore from 1,159 shows and the Hindi version Rs 7 lakh from 784 shows.
The film's overseas gross reached Rs 91 crore by day 11, pushing worldwide gross to Rs 295.92 crore.
Directed by H Vinoth, the political action drama stars Vijay as Thalapathy Vetri Kondan and features Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and Anirudh Ravichander's music.
