'Jana Nayagan' BO Day 10; Thalapathy Vijay's film jumps 119.7%
'Jana Nayagan' collected Rs 7.80 crore India net on Day 10, a 119.7% jump from the previous day's Rs 3.55 crore.
The film's total India net collection reached Rs 164.90 crore, with worldwide gross at Rs 280.50 crore after overseas earnings of Rs 3 crore on Day 10.
The Tamil version contributed Rs 7.25 crore of the day's India net, while Hindi added Rs 50 lakhs and Telugu Rs 5 lakhs.
Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 7.50 crore in gross collections on Day 10, followed by Karnataka (Rs 50 lakhs) and Kerala (Rs 35 lakhs).
The film, directed by H. Vinoth, stars Thalapathy Vijay as former police officer Vetri Kondan, who helps his ward Viji achieve her dream of joining the armed forces.
