'Closely Monitoring': India on US Bill Seeking Upto 100% Tariffs On Russian Oil Buyers

The bill targets major importers of Russian energy, including India, China, Slovakia, Hungary, and Azerbaijan, and includes provisions for shadow fleet circumvention.
India reaffirmed that its energy policy is based on national interests, securing needs of its 1.4 billion people through diversified sources, including the US.
