'Force feed Sonam Wangchuk': Plea in Delhi HC seeks liquid diet, hospitalisation for climate activist on hunger strike

A plea filed by advocate Rakesh Kumar Saini in the Delhi High Court seeks to force-feed climate activist Sonam Wangchuk with a liquid diet and hospitalize him.
Wangchuk has been on an indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar in support of the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) protest over alleged NEET examination irregularities.
The plea urges the Centre and Delhi government to immediately shift Wangchuk to a government hospital and administer medical treatment.
The hunger strike entered its 18th day, while the CJP's protest completed 25 days, with a planned 'Chalo Sansad' march on July 20.
The matter is scheduled for hearing before a division bench of Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tejas Karia.
