Sindhu says Japan Open win shows ‘it’s not over yet’

PV Sindhu won the Japan Open, her first BWF title in 19 months since the Syed Modi International in December 2022.

Sindhu became the first Indian to win the Japan Open, defeating Japan's Akane Yamaguchi.

She overcame injuries and niggles through day-to-day rehabilitation, missing early rounds to ensure full fitness.

Her coaching team includes Indonesian coach Irwansyah focusing on court discipline and Wayne Lombard monitoring her.
