Food poisoning denied me CWG gold, says Selva Prabhu after winning bronze
Selva Prabhu Thirumaran won bronze in men's triple jump at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with 16.52m.
He said food poisoning cost him a chance at gold, as a jump near his personal best of 17.05m would have won.
He finished behind fellow Indian Praveen Chithravel (16.58m) and Scotland's Jordon Scott (16.72m).
Selva plans to focus on qualifying for the Asian Games in Japan, taking it one step at a time.
