Ram temple trust interim general secretary reviews items of gold, silver and records kept in bank

Ram temple trust interim general secretary Krishna Mohan reviewed gold, silver, and other precious metals worth crores of rupees in a bank locker at State Bank of India in Ayodhya.

An inventory of valuables was prepared and photographs taken during Monday evening visit.

Krishna Mohan had been verifying the trust's account ledgers and records for three days before preparing a final inventory of funds and precious metals.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT), formed after the alleged Ram temple offering theft case, is expected to resume work on Tuesday.

Eight accused have been arrested in connection with the alleged embezzlement.
