PM Modi inaugurates Rs 5,000 crore Bhogapuram Airport in Andhra Pradesh
PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rs 5,000 crore Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram in Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram district.
The airport, developed by GMR Group, is designed to handle 6 million passengers annually in phase one, with plans to expand to 40 million.
Commercial flight operations at the airport are scheduled to begin on August 17.
