The Odyssey box office: Nolan's epic crosses $346M in first week
Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' earned $346 million worldwide in its first week, becoming his biggest opening ever.
The film recovered its $250 million production cost within three days of release.
Domestically, the six-day total reached $181.6 million, running 54% ahead of 'Oppenheimer' at the same point.
In India, the film earned Rs 90.30 crore net in its first week and became the highest-grossing IMAX opening in the country.
The $264.1 million worldwide opening weekend surpassed 'The Dark Knight Rises' ($249 million) and 'Oppenheimer' ($180 million).
