Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is the first commercial feature shot entirely on IMAX 70mm cameras, displaying the full 1.43:1 aspect ratio.

Only 41 theaters worldwide are equipped to project the film in IMAX 70mm, mostly in North America, Europe, and Australia.

Each IMAX 70mm film print is over 17 km long and weighs around 240 kg, using the IMAX 1570 format.

Nolan worked with IMAX to create a soundproofing 'blimp' for the 180 kg 1570 camera to record dialogue for the first time.

Melbourne, Australia, is the only cinema in the southern hemisphere with a 1570 reel of The Odyssey, featuring a 32m x 23m screen.
