Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke denies entering politics

Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the 'Cockroach Janta Party' (CJP), denied intentions to formally enter politics or turn CJP into a political party, saying the country needs a public movement instead.

Dipke alleged misuse of central agencies like the ED and CBI to split political parties and claimed votes are being deleted in elections, eroding people's faith in politics.

CJP was created as a social media movement in May, a day after CJI Surya Kant's 'cockroaches' remark, and gained traction leading to protests against the NEET paper leak at Jantar Mantar, resulting in the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

CJP's core team will hold a two-day strategy meet in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on August 5-6 to discuss the movement's future, including plans for a nationwide listening tour to connect with volunteers.
