RTI activist seeks inquiry into how Abhijeet Dipke's father funded his US education
Surat-based RTI activist Amit Tiwari has sought an inquiry into the finances of Bhagwanrao Dipke, father of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke, questioning how his government salary funded his son's US education.
Abhijeet Dipke, a Boston University graduate, returned to India on June 6 to lead CJP protests; his father is a retired Junior Engineer at MIDC.
Tiwari has complained to the Maharashtra Government, alleging disproportionate assets if the salary could not cover the education costs.
Tiwari also asked the Election Commission of India and Central GST to investigate CJP's ₹ 1 crore legal aid fund pledged by Kapil Sibal, questioning if CJP is registered under the Representation of the People Act.
The activist raised concerns about GST on the pledged legal aid and criticized the protests for abusing PM Modi and his late mother, deviating from the initial NEET paper leak issue.
