Lewis Pullman on co-starring with dad Bill Pullman in ‘Spaceballs’ sequel

Lewis Pullman plays Prince Starburst in 'Spaceballs: The New One', the son of Lone Starr and Princess Vespa.

Lewis initially declined the role due to nerves, but after reading the script—which he called one of the funniest he's ever read—he accepted.

Bill Pullman, who returns as Lone Starr, encouraged Lewis to read the script and supported his decision without pressure.

The sequel features original cast members and newcomers including Keke Palmer as Destiny and Josh Gad.

'Spaceballs: The New One' is set for theatrical release on April 23, 2027.
