The 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow ended with Ahmedabad officially taking over as host for the 2030 edition.

The Commonwealth Games flag was handed over by Commonwealth Sport president Dr Donald Rukare to Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra, Indian Olympic Association president PT Usha, and Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi.
