Haryana SIR : Draft electoral rolls published for all 90 assembly constituencies

Haryana published draft electoral rolls for all 90 assembly constituencies after the first phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.

More than 20,000 Booth Level Officers distributed enumeration forms to over 2.06 crore electors, with 1.72 crore forms submitted by July 24.

The exercise identified 24.13 lakh electors as permanently shifted or absent, 7.66 lakh as deceased, and 2.04 lakh enrolled at multiple places.

Claims and objections can be filed from July 31 to August 30 using Form 6; final electoral roll publication is set for October 3.

The SIR process involved 23 District Election Officers, 90 Electoral Registration Officers, and 20,629 BLOs, with nearly 37,000 Booth Level Agents from political parties.
