Health minister JP Nadda, MoS Jitendra Singh meet Sonam Wangchuk at Medanta Hospital: Report

Union health minister JP Nadda and MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh visited Sonam Wangchuk at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram to inquire about his health.

The Delhi High Court ordered Wangchuk's immediate transfer from Safdarjung Hospital to Medanta Hospital amid his hunger strike over the alleged NEET paper leak.

The court directed Medanta doctors to treat Wangchuk per established medical protocol and said he must follow medical advice.

Wangchuk's wife Gitanjali Angmo had challenged a single judge's order refusing permission to shift him.

Wangchuk was on the 24th day of his hunger strike with protests continuing at Jantar Mantar demanding Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation.
