Brazil to play India in Kolkata on October 3

Five-time world champions Brazil will play India for the first time on October 3 at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.

Brazil, ranked 5th in the world, will be the highest-ranked opponent India (138th) has ever played.

Players like Vinicius Jr and Marquinhos may feature, with Carlo Ancelotti as coach.

India will send a separate squad for the FIFA ASEAN Cup in Indonesia from September 24 to October 3.

The match was confirmed by the AIFF and CBF, with Brazil playing two matches against Australia beforehand.
