Loomer claims McConnell health update is fake

Laura Loomer accused Mitch McConnell's team of lying about his health, questioning the authenticity of a photo shared by his staff.

Loomer posted a photograph of McConnell holding a Sunday newspaper, claiming the text looked AI generated and the tag on his shirt was blurred.

Loomer reaffirmed her stance in an interview with The Washington Post, but did not provide substantiating evidence.

McConnell has been largely out of the public eye since June 14, 2026, when he collapsed at his residence and required CPR.

Loomer asserted, citing a source connected to the White House, that McConnell is 'brain dead' and his time in Congress is over.
