Prasad described protestors as sharp, peaceful and unafraid, but said turnout needs to be much larger.

She stated the protests are about more than one exam or generation, calling it a historic moment.

Protests in Bengaluru have been more peaceful than in Delhi or Mumbai, with students sleeping on streets and being denied water.

Prasad criticized the government for criminally ignoring the public and urged people to stand in solidarity.
