Senior officer meets injured Delhi cops at RML Hospital after late-night clash during CJP protest

A senior Delhi Police officer visited injured personnel at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital after violence during a Cockroach Janta Party protest at Jantar Mantar.

At least six police personnel, including two ACP-rank officers, were injured in the clash with anti-social elements on Wednesday night.

Special Commissioner of Police, Zone-I, Devesh Chandra Srivastva, met the injured officers and inquired about their condition.

Police identified outsiders suspected of stone-pelting and are using video clips and CCTV footage to arrest them.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke alleged that outsiders tried to defame the protest by attacking security personnel.
