Train number 19101 Virar–Bharuch MEMU derailed while entering Platform 1 at Bhilad station at 6:27am.

Four wheels of the front Driving Motor Coach derailed; no injuries to passengers or staff.

Accident Relief Train and Accident Relief Medical Equipment were deployed for restoration.

Multiple MEMU and long-distance trains on the Mumbai-Gujarat corridor of Western Railway were delayed.

Cause to be determined after detailed inquiry; restoration work underway.
