Nashik: Four Killed As Eeco Van Crushed Between Two Trucks On Peth Highway

Four people, including a woman, were killed when a Maruti Eeco was crushed between two trucks on the Nashik–Peth highway at Sawalghat.

The accident occurred when a truck approaching from behind suffered brake failure on a steep descent, ramming the Eeco into another truck ahead.

One person sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at the District Civil Hospital.

The deceased include two men and one woman; the identity of the fourth victim is awaited.

Police from Peth and Dindori stations conducted a panchnama, and an investigation is underway.
