'Jana Nayagan' re-censored: CM Vijay's last film gets added footage

Vijay's final film 'Jana Nayagan' was re-censored by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an additional 41 seconds of footage.

The new runtime is 3 hours, 3 minutes, and 52 seconds, up from the previous 3 hours, 3 minutes, and 11 seconds.

The film originally received an 'A' certificate after multiple rounds of scrutiny and suggested modifications.

Directed by H. Vinoth, 'Jana Nayagan' is Vijay's last film before entering politics and is one of the year's most anticipated Tamil releases.

The theatrical release is expected on July 23 or 24, with the official release date announcement likely soon.
