Sunny Deol tears up as Rajkumar Santoshi recalls Dharmendra’s reaction to Batwara 1947: ‘Bola tha picture chalegi’

Director Rajkumar Santoshi recalled that Dharmendra watched Batwara 1947 before his death and predicted it would be a huge success.

Sunny Deol became emotional, wiping tears, as Santoshi described Dharmendra’s reaction to the film.

Batwara 1947 features an ensemble cast including Shabana Azmi, Sunny Deol, Preity G Zinta, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal, and Abhimanyu Singh.

Shabana Azmi discussed a difficult scene in the film where her character is subjected to violence and humiliation.
