Arboreal Bioinnovations raised Rs 230 crore in a Series A round co-led by EAAA and Omnivore.

Existing investor Rainmatter by Zerodha also participated in the round.

The startup will use the funds to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen R&D, and accelerate commercialisation of functional ingredients.

Arboreal provides proteins, sugar reduction solutions, cacao ingredients, and nutraceutical actives, serving over 1,100 B2B customers in India.

The investment is the first from EAAA's Discovery Fund II, highlighting Arboreal's next-generation yeast protein products.
