Arboreal Bioinnovations raises Rs 230 Cr in Series A led by Edelweiss’s EAAA and Omnivore

Arboreal Bioinnovations raised Rs 230 crore ($24 million) in Series A funding co-led by Edelweiss's EAAA and Omnivore, with participation from Rainmatter by Zerodha.

The company develops specialty ingredients and solutions for nutraceutical and food & beverage brands, founded in May 2018 by Swati Pandey and Manish Chauhan.

Arboreal serves over 1,100 B2B customers in India, providing ingredients across next generation proteins, sugar reduction, cocoa, and nutraceutical actives.

Proceeds will expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen R&D, and accelerate commercialization of new functional ingredients.

Based in Lucknow, the company uses a contextual innovation approach tailored to Indian consumers and brands.
