Rahul Gandhi attacks Dharmendra Pradhan

Rahul Gandhi called Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan a 'criminal education minister' and demanded his removal over exam paper leaks.

Gandhi demanded action against security personnel accused of using pellet guns and batons against student protesters in Delhi.

Gandhi presented a Delhi University student, Sahil, who alleged he was hit in the right eye by a pellet gun during a peaceful protest on July 20, 2026.

Gandhi said the government's claim that pellet guns were not used was contradicted by the student's injury and that thousands of youths were allegedly hit by pellet guns, lathi-charged, and beaten.

Gandhi called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to apologise to students and said exam paper leaks had rendered it unfair, as those who could pay ₹ 60–70 lakh bought the question papers.
