UGC allows one-year postgraduate programmes in ODL, online mode under NEP 2020

UGC permits one-year postgraduate programmes via ODL and online mode under NEP 2020 guidelines.

Only institutions already offering two-year PG programmes in the same subject can introduce the one-year course.

Admission is open to students with a four-year bachelor’s degree with honours.

Programmes must follow UGC regulations including the Curriculum and Credit Framework for PG Programmes.

Approval from competent academic authorities like Board of Studies, Academic Council, or Executive Council is required.
