The juvenile's SUV rammed into a scooter on February 5, killing Dhrumil Patel and injuring his wife Minal; the case was registered at Tilak Nagar Police Station.
The Juvenile Justice Board had granted bail on March 7; Minal challenged it through advocate Ruben Mascarenhas.
The court noted that releasing affluent juveniles early after such incidents would frustrate society's confidence and cited similar incidents in Pune and Mumbai this year.
The court ordered the juvenile to remain in an observation home until the investigation is complete.
