Bharat Forge partners with FLYING WHALES on airships

Bharat Forge signed a strategic MoU with FLYING WHALES to jointly develop and manufacture heavy-lift airships in India.
The partnership focuses on the LCA60T heavy-lift airship, which can transport up to 60 tonnes of cargo with VTOL capability and hybrid-electric propulsion.
The airships will support defence applications including logistics for forward bases, oversized military equipment transport, ISR missions, and disaster relief.
The agreement was signed during the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 by Guru Biswal of Bharat Forge and Sébastien Bougon of FLYING WHALES.
Bharat Forge share price traded at Rs 2,189.50, near its 52-week high of Rs 2,236.95, after the announcement.
