HCLTech to set up Rs 14.3k cr AI data centre in Odisha
HCLTech plans to invest Rs 14,257 crore to set up its first AI data centre at the Odisha Sovereign AI Park.
The AI data centre will be established in partnership with homegrown AI startup Sarvam and the Odisha government.
The project aims to strengthen India's sovereign AI ecosystem by combining HCLTech's infrastructure with Sarvam's indigenous foundation models.
HCLTech also announced a separate global technology centre in Bhubaneswar, expected to employ about 5,000 people and begin operations by 2028.
