The restaurant apologised and promised to replace its logo after the video of Borgohain's complaint went viral, but deactivated its Instagram account amid online backlash.
Boxing Federation of India President Ajay Singh noted the logo's inaccurate boundaries of Jammu and Kashmir and confirmed the management agreed to correct it.
The incident occurred during a celebratory dinner for India's boxing contingent at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, where the team won 10 medals including seven golds.
